This just in.. Quick Update: Last night, Veracity took another trip into Mt. Hyjal and after one shotting Rage and Anetheron again, moved onto Kaz’rogal. This fight turned out to be a lot easier this time around and he went down pretty quickly!

We also tried out Azgalor a few times and managed to get him to 21% on our first attempt, i'm sure with a little more concentration we'll be able to get him down next time!
Animal bosses and more! Monday night, Veracity took 10 people and decided to take a small trip into Zul’Aman for the first time in several months. We were reminiscing about the first time we set foot in the zone, when a curious druid decided to ring the gong before we even knew what was going on! This time however, we were well prepared and managed to kill Nalorakk quickly and get the extra piece of loot. From there, we decided to just focus on taking down bosses and work on the timed event on one of our future visits.
Next, Akil’zon, Halazzi, and Jan’alai died in pretty swift fashion and we decided to come back the next evening to finish up the last two bosses. So, the following evening, after a couple attempts and strat changes, Veracity downed Hex Lord Malacrass and Zul’jin for the first time ever. Everyone worked really well together and we hope to visit ZA more in the future!

In other news, Veracity did head back into Mount Hyjal again over the past couple weeks and managed to take down Rage Winterchill for a second and third time. While we were at it, we figured we’d continue on and took down Anetheron as well. We haven’t been spending as much time in T6 content since we are still eager to take down Kael and have been continuing to gear up people in SSC and TK. We also have been visiting Magtheridon again in order to get his yummy 20 slot bag and epic gems!

Once again, grats to all winners of recent loot and I’m so proud of everyone for continuing to work hard towards progression.
Short and Sweet! As the weeks go by, Veracity continues to progress with finesse! We spent the last couple weeks in SSC in order to get in a few good attempts at Vashj. This was time well spent as we got yet another first!
On what was our third attempt of the evening, on our second week of really trying Vashj, we were able to kill her and make the casters very happy with Helm of the Vanquished Hero in triplicate!

The next evening, we decided to make our first foray into Mount Hyjal for a change of scenery. Rage Winterchill was a piece of cake, and we then moved onto Anetheron and got him to 4% on our first attempt, he will be dead on our next visit!

Another Prosperous Month Even though it has been awhile since I updated, Veracity has still been hard at work progressing and downing first bosses!
I’d also like to say that I know we’ve been progressing quickly and we may have had some growing pains over the last couple months; but, I am so proud that everyone is persevering and working hard to keep Veracity moving forward, keep it up! Everyone is doing great!
Now, down to business. After we downed Hydross and Tidewalker in January, Veracity then moved on in the month of February to take out Fathom Lord Karathress and Leotheras the Blind.
Fathom Lord Dead:
We took a week or so to farm some more loot from Karathress and Leo, and then moved onto Al'ar the Phoenix God! Our first evenings attempt brought him down to 26%, which wasn’t bad, but we were still not satisfied! So, we went back in on Monday evening with hunger for a roasted bird, and ended up bringing the bird down in flames on the second attempt of the evening! Another guild first!

This is exactly how Veracity has been feeling lately, we're just having fun with friends and movin' right along with our progress. This past week we went into SSC and besides our usual Lurker kill we also took out two more bosses to add to our repertoire of first time kills!
First, on Sunday, we attempted Hydross the Unstable, who I am pleased to say was very quick and easy to get to with very little trash. After we had a little warm-up and let Canaz test the waters with a few deaths, we decided to reposition some of the adds and Hydross was easily killed on our second attempt of the evening.
The next evening after some interesting dances with Murlocs that refused to stay sheeped very long, we decided to head further into SSC and look for the big purple giant. After a few of our raiders went for a quick dip in the water, we came face to ass with the farting giant himself, Morogrim Tidewalker. The first two attempts were decent, but after some slight adjustments and Canaz being nice enough to die first again a few times, we were able to kill Tidewalker on our third try.

Another first! Veracity had a nice long relaxing break over the past couple weeks. Some of us enjoyed it a bit more than others, some of us wonder if we were switched at birth and somehow ended up in the wrong family! Regardless, we all survived for the most part and came back strong this past week.
So, first off, we decided to make the rounds and get people some belated gifts for the Holidays. After taking down a flawless Mag and Gruul Wed, we continued on Thur to send VR to the junkyard again, then finally capped off the work week with a Lurker kill. Grats to all the winners of their new loot!
For the weekend we decided to give something new a go, so we went back into TK with a handful of mages and had lots of fun being told we could actually AE on a raid on our way to High Astromancer Solarian! After we had some mishaps with explosions, we were able to walk out with some shiny new toys on our 4th attempt.
